January's Ipsy Bag Review

 In another post, I told you all about my love of getting mail. And what woman does not like makeup, beauty supplies. I love make-up but honestly, I am intimated by purchasing it. There are so many name brands, shades, and it is overwhelming. I get overwhelmed by purchasing makeup but still like it. In comes IPSY. IPSY is a beauty bag subscription. Each month I receive 5 deluxe size samples and a cute makeup bag. Sometimes there are full-size products and makeup brushes.

Each month you get a card explaining each product included in the bag. 

I received two face masks, which I love using. A dark spot concealer, concealer, eyeliner, and a bronzer. I like that on the IPSY website, you can click the learn option to see a video showing how to use each product.  On the first of everyone month, the style of the beauty bag is announced. There is an option to pick one of the products or you can be surprised and not choose a product. There are add-on products that ship for free with your bag and at discounted prices. 

This month's bag has a value of over $50. I honestly would not pay $50, but I will pay $13 a month with free shipping. It is easy to sign up for here, you take a quick beauty quiz, to help them tailor your bag to your skin type, and preferences. Also, each month you can review your products, which helps them get to know you better and will help IPSY fine-tune your future bags.

A Product Review and my first GIVEAWAY!!

Today I received a full size bottle of Purex Complete with Zout Triple Enzyme Stain Remover. The scent is Fresh Morning Burst. I am a scent orientated person, so the first thing I did was to open the bottle and smelled it. It smells so fresh and clean, I could not wait to give it a try. Four loads of laundry later, I can say that I truly love this product!! As a busy mother of two busy boys, I often miss stains on clothes before they are put into the drier and set for life. Then another piece of clothing heads for the rag bag. I love that the pretreatment is included in the product, no extra step. It works for HE and front loading machines.
