Winter Fun in the U.P.

The view from the front door.  Winter has moved into our part of the country and is showing no sign of leaving this far into March. This is a photo during a major storm that shut schools for two days. The little blop of orange in the center of the photo is my darling husband clearing off my car while plowing the driveway. It has been years since we have seen this much snow from one storm. The roof you can see a little bit of to the right is the garage, see how tall the snow banks are. We were able to play in the snow having some free frugal family fun. Snowshoeing with Sasquatch.  Noah and I enjoyed the event. The trails were in excellent shape and the scenery was beautiful.  I wish I have taken more photos. You can tell by the photos how tall my youngest son has got, he just turned 16 and is 6 foot 2. He has outgrown the pants that he got for Christmas he is growing so quickly. We enjoyed the fresh air and family frugal fun, that included exercise. I ca
