 I am not sure where my love of receiving mail came from. Maybe it was while I was in the United States Air Force. I remember, in basic training waiting for my name to be called during mail call. Waiting and waiting, while it seemed like everyone else in the flight received envelopes and care packages from loved ones. A simple envelope or box from home may seem like nothing, but when you are the one that does not receive one for days and days on end, it does become something.  Fast-forward 27 years, I still love getting mail.
