The Beloved: 365 Devotions for Young Women is a beautiful hardcover book with 371+ sturdy pages. The design throughout the book is very soft and feminine.  This devotional is targeted to the young women between the ages of  13-18 years.  The daily devotions consist of a Bible verse, related text and a 4 lined journaling space at the bottom to record thoughts, concerns, reflections, lessons, prayers, etc.
The devotions are short and to the point. Thus making them a quick read, allowing time to dig deeper into the Bible, if desired. Even though the devotions do not take much time to read, and offer very powerful insight.

My review: I enjoyed the format of this devotional. The readings are simple to understand and embrace. To read the devotion of the day only takes a few minutes a day to embrace the Lord's word. There are journaling lines to take notes or write down what the devotion means to you. I also keep thoughts that the daily readings provoked. When I have time to spend reading the Bible, I will use my notes to help to remind me of things I wanted to further spend time on.

I must add that there are topics like sex, rape, and adultery, which I am not sure a young teen should be reading without the guidance of a parent ready to have discussions on the topics.

A Product Review and my first GIVEAWAY!!

Today I received a full size bottle of Purex Complete with Zout Triple Enzyme Stain Remover. The scent is Fresh Morning Burst. I am a scent orientated person, so the first thing I did was to open the bottle and smelled it. It smells so fresh and clean, I could not wait to give it a try. Four loads of laundry later, I can say that I truly love this product!! As a busy mother of two busy boys, I often miss stains on clothes before they are put into the drier and set for life.
